Don't know about all the other stuff (no motherly wisdom to share!) but as a fellow bookworm - I say of all the Lori Wick books to pack, choose "The Hawk and the Jewel" :) there - one less thing to work out!

ahh.. you sound like me. we're headed to florida for several months in a week or so. I've got to go through all this packing too. it signals a big "UGH". The other thing in Florida is that it will be blazin' hot when we get there, but it will turn to cooler weather while we're there. So, do we bring just summer things, or do we bring summer AND winter? boy oh boy. And then you got sippy cups and bottles and toys (?) and school things and toiletries and I guess we're not going to bring the stroller since nathan doesn't even like it anymore... oh boy. Thankfully we have a crib down there now as well as SOME bedding. But I still have to think about crib sheets and stuff... fun fun. take the Bible, leave the quarterly. Forget the cart cover. You can always use a blanket for a floor mat, though if you have room, bring it! :) have fun!!

I say, forget the quarterlies, you can get them off the web. Take the carrier you are least likely to be able to make. In a pinch, you can make a new sling.
