My dear friend Janeen is going in for her c-section tomorrow. Around noon, if I remember correctly. It’s a baby girl…to join their 6 year old daughter and 18 month old son.
Janeen, besides being my friend, is also the children’s pastor at our church. I’d just like to pause here and say how much I have enjoyed seeing her up front, on the platform, in the public eye, throughout her pregnancy. It is such an affirmation of womanhood. It allows all of us to join in the celebration of woman’s divine gift…to be partners with God in a new creation.
Love, prayers, and good wishes for tomorrow. For the surgery, for mother and baby, for speedy healing, and for the joy of meeting this new little one.
And if you didn’t get everything done today that you wanted to get done, Janeen, then I’ll add a prayer for peace and tranquillity. 🙂
