Frittata Fermata

Lia helped me pick the swiss chard, wash it, chop it, and put it into the pan to make a frittata for lunch.  We pause for a moment to admire our handiwork ::

It doesn’t really look like a fermata to me.

  1. Fermata – I’ve he-hawed about that all day. MANY years ago I attended Michael’s piano lesson with Mrs. Pitt. She was explaining ‘fermata’ to him. He didn’t like that word. It was dumb or stupid. Mrs. Pitt didn’t react but simply changed the subject and went on. I’ve got to write to Carol. Mrs. Pitt would get a good laugh also. Gma.
